Now pending! My cute little home on Henson went into escrow as soon as it came on the market.
A home is what you make of it! But first you must find one! In our transforming real estate scene here in the Foothills, it seems everyone is looking for a solid little rancher to make their own. This home might just be the perfect fit. What makes it so neat is the bones, and the hidden assets. The wood floors are wonderful! They are newer and solid. There is a beautiful hand built wall unit that was built to specs for the owner by a local, well respected carpenter.
The kitchen has oodles of nice cabinets (not oak!), newer double ovens, and a Chalmers stove top. This, in case you don’t know, was state of the art when this home was built and cannot be reproduced! It is a wonderful cooktop with sweet features. There is a room off the great room that can be closed for privacy and makes a wonderful media center. It’s not cut off from main living, but private and quiet when needed. This sunny room would make a great home office space or home schooling area.
The yard is nearly flat! This is one of my favorite parts of this property. Here in the hills it is hard to find a yard that could be wonderful for play area for children. While the front yard is a garden oasis in Spring and Summer, the backyard is shaded and flat and there is a lovely deck. Whether you are a gardener or just want to hang out and wander in the yard, this home has it!
It is fenced, has NID piped water and is near Highway 49 for ease of access either up to town or down the hill to Auburn. I shouldn’t forget to note that the garage is a two car but has a tall ceiling, so upgrades to this could mean huge storage.
Call me, Deb St. John, if you want to see this cute home.
